About Alyssa
Born and raised in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, Alyssa has always been passionate about fashion. At 14, she began modeling and has since worked with brands like Yumi Katsura Bridal, BFYNE Swimwear, and Jawara Alleyne.

Alyssa earned her foundational certification at UAL: London College of Fashion in 2018 and graduated with a first-class BA in Fashion Styling and Production in 2022. She furthered her education with certifications in fashion photography from Central Saint Martins, social media strategy from LCF, and Ancient Egyptian Art & Archaeology from Harvard.

After graduation, Alyssa won the Emerging Artist Award at the Cayman Islands 3rd Biennale, where her piece 'Celia' was acquired by the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands.

Now completing her master's in Creative Direction for Fashion Media at Conde Nast College & working in events and PR, Alyssa is the founder and creative director of West Indian Creatives and Cayman Heritage Guide, initiatives that connect and educate Caribbean communities. Her work is known for its artistic and conceptual style, inspired by diverse cultures and classic fashion photography and art from the late 60s to early 2000s.
