THE FULL STORY

West Indian Creatives is a creative agency based in London serving both as a platform for Caribbean creatives and a cultural creative consultancy. WIC combines unique, authentically Caribbean in-house events and exhibitions that simultaneously show our service skills to collaborators. We aim to create a community amongst like-minded POC and Caribbean people who crave intentional and immersive experiences in a non-competitive setting. Our innovative and creative services have an authentic diverse and inclusive approach, helping businesses and brands conceptualize creative ideas and curate content and opportunities that benefit all people.

The idea for WIC was born in 2022, and founded by Alyssa Janae in her final year at London College of Fashion. Born and raised in the Cayman Islands and recently completing her MA in Creative Direction, Alyssa noticed a gap in London's creative space for West Indian Creatives specifically. WIC's mission is to spread the talent of Caribbean people to an international audience, while also nurturing an inclusive community in the fashion, arts and music industries.
